This hat was a custom order for Centurymon. If you would like you very own custom hat, send me a note! I also have a lot of styles available in my web shop!
www.CustomCosplay.com

Custom made hat for Centurymon on DeviantArt. She sent me illustrations of the hat she wanted, as well as the facial details. I sewed the hat from soft fleece fabric using my industrial serger, then free-motion embroidered the face in polyester embroidery thread.

The ears and nose feature gold tone studs.
I don't use felt, glue, markers or paint on my hats. I only use professional materials, equipment and techniques creating hats of superior quality that will wash well and last a long time.

The technique I use does require a sewing machine, but if you wanted to, you could use hand embroidery (the finished look would just be a bit different).

Thanks! It has a lot more to do with practice than the machine, all the details are hand guided :)

Oh goodness. I am still quite a beginner at making fleece hats and I must way your work is very impressive and such an insparation! These eyes are amazing! May I ask how you made them? It looks like very close stitching but is there a name for it? haha.

did you do the embroidery with your hand or with a machine?

By machine, but it isn't digital (the details are all hand guided).
